A record stand from David Warner and Glenn Maxwell helped Australia secure a last-ball, five-wicket victory over South Africa in the second Twenty20 International at The Wanderers on Sunday. Steven Smith won the toss and decided to bowl first. De Villiers started  in flash by smashing a six and a boundary but fell soon after for 13 but visitors couldn’t capitalise on the early breakthrough though as the in-form Quinton de Kock and Faf du Plessis added a 62-run partnership for the second wicket in six overs. Du Plessis and David Miller to take South Africa to a commanding total after de Kock got out. The skipper scored 20 runs off the final over before being dismissed but David Wiese also contribute with six in the last ball of the inning to the Josh Hazelwood's over. Faulkner bowled brilliantly for Australia his figure was impressive 3/28. Chasing 205, David Warner again not open the inning and Aaron Finch and Watson open the inning for the Australia. Both failed in single-digit scores and Smith, who came in at No 3 ahead of Warner failed to score. A score of 32/3 might have seemed troubling, but it's David Warner and Glenn Maxwell today we can expect lot of fire work when both are on crease and they did. David Wiese felt the heat by conceded 58 runs in his four overs while Imran Tahir was also helpless. Warner scored five maximums while Maxwell hit three on their 77 and 75 respectively. Though the duo fell on the brink of victory, Faulkner and Marsh finished the job for the Australia to complete a famous victory on the final ball of the match. Brief Scores: South Africa 204/7 off 20 overs – Du Plessis 79(41), De Kock 44(28); Faulkner 3/28 lost to Australia 205/5 off 20 overs (Warner 77(40), Maxwell 75(43); Rabada 2/25
